Reports

Run monthly payout and client reports with the per-account breakdown table, export the numbers to CSV, and share a period-pinned public link.

ViralDeck public report
Reports pair a period-scoped per-account breakdown in the dashboard with a public share link clients can open without an account.

What's on the Reports page

ElementWhat it doesWhy it matters
Period pickerPresets for Last month (the default), Month to date, and Last 30 days, plus custom date ranges. All periods are calculated in UTC.One click reproduces the standard monthly reporting window every time.
Platform filterScopes every number on the page to a single platform.Useful when payouts or client reports are split by network.
Headline totalsPosted Videos, Active Accounts, Views/Likes/Comments/Shares/Bookmarks Gained, and Engagement % for the selected period. The workspace-level summary you quote at the top of a report.
Per-account breakdown tableOne row per tracked account: the account, its linked creator (person) name when set, Videos Posted (published inside the period), each metric Gained in the period, and Engagement %.This is the payout sheet — per-person counts for the exact period you picked.
Export CSVDownloads the breakdown table as a CSV, including a final TOTAL row.Drop it straight into your payout spreadsheet or client deliverable.
Copy client linkCopies the workspace's public report URL pinned to the current period.Clients open the exact same date range you were looking at.

Run a monthly payout report

1

Open Analytics → Reports

In the dashboard sidebar, go to Analytics → Reports. The page loads with the Last month preset selected, so a payout run at the start of a new month needs no date fiddling. Switch to Month to date, Last 30 days, or a custom range when you need a different window — all ranges are UTC.

2

Scope with the platform filter if needed

If creators are paid per platform, apply the platform filter first. The headline totals and the breakdown table both follow it.

3

Read the per-account breakdown

Each row shows one tracked account with the linked creator name (when you have linked a person to the account), how many videos it posted inside the period, the views, likes, comments, shares, and bookmarks it gained, and its Engagement %. ViralDeck deliberately reports counts only — your agency applies its own rates on top.

4

Export the CSV or copy the client link

Use Export CSV for your own payout spreadsheet, or Copy client link to send the client a public report pinned to the same period.

How “gained” metrics are calculated

Gained metrics are daily-snapshot deltas summed over the selected period — not lifetime totals. One caveat: a video’s first tracked day counts its full lifetime total as that day’s gain, so a freshly added account inflates its first reporting period. Numbers settle from the second period onward.

CSV export columns

ColumnContents
AccountThe tracked account's handle.
PlatformThe account's platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
CreatorThe linked creator (person) name, when one is set on the account.

Likes GainedLikes gained during the period.
Comments GainedComments gained during the period.
Shares GainedShares gained during the period.
Bookmarks GainedBookmarks gained during the period.
Engagement %Engagement rate for the period.

TOTAL row

The last CSV row is a TOTAL row summing the workspace across all listed accounts, so the export matches the headline totals on the page.

Share a period-pinned client link

1

Pick the period on the Reports page

The Copy client link button always pins whatever period is currently selected, so set the range first.

2

Click Copy client link

ViralDeck copies the workspace’s public share-link URL with ?from=YYYY-MM-DD&to=YYYY-MM-DD appended. If the workspace has no share link yet, the button creates one first, then copies the pinned URL.

3

Send it to the client

The client opens the exact period you reported on — no dashboard account required. The public report shows the period label at the top, and its date picker sends explicit dates, so anything the client changes stays unambiguous.

Manage the share link itself

1

Open the workspace on the Workspaces page

Share links are per-workspace. Go to Workspaces in the sidebar and find the workspace whose report you want to expose or revoke.

2

Generate or enable the share link

ViralDeck creates a tokenized public URL. Anyone with that URL can view the report without signing in. (The Reports page’s Copy client link button does this automatically the first time.)

3

Disable or regenerate to revoke old access

Disable the link to take the report offline, or regenerate it if a link was shared too broadly — the old token stops working and the new URL becomes the valid entry point. Regenerating also invalidates any period-pinned links you sent earlier.

Public report behavior

Public reports are not static screenshots. Recipients can use the public report’s built-in platform and date filters to explore the workspace data exposed by that report — a period-pinned link simply sets the starting date range.
