Organizations

What is an organization?

Your organization is the top-level ViralDeck account. It owns:

• The subscription and billing — one subscription per organization covers everything inside it
• Team members — everyone you invite shares the organization's data and limits
• Settings and integrations — Slack alerts, notifications, and defaults
• One or more workspaces — the per-client/campaign scopes where tracked accounts live (see Workspaces)

When you sign up, ViralDeck automatically creates an organization for you (named "X's Organization") with a default workspace named General.

Switching organizations

If you belong to more than one organization (for example, your own plus a team you were invited to), use the organization switcher in the sidebar header to move between them. Each organization has its own workspaces, tracked accounts, team, and subscription.

Below the organization header sits the workspace switcher, which selects the active workspace inside the current organization.

Organization settings

Access settings from the Settings link in the sidebar. The settings page is divided into tabs:

General

• Organization name and logo
• Default timezone for reporting

Members

Invite team members to your organization by email. Invited users get full access to all workspaces, tracking, analytics, and settings. Role-based permissions are not currently supported — all members have equal access.

Integrations

Slack

Connect a Slack webhook to receive automatic notifications when a tracked video goes viral. Configure:

• Webhook URL — paste your Slack incoming webhook URL
• Enable notifications — toggle alerts on/off
• View thresholds — which milestones trigger a notification (10K, 50K, 100K, 500K, 1M views)

To set up a Slack webhook: In Slack, go to Apps → Incoming Webhooks → Add to Slack, choose a channel, and copy the webhook URL.

Notifications

Configure email digest preferences for your account.

Billing

The subscription belongs to the organization — plan limits (tracked accounts and videos) are shared across all of its workspaces and team members. Manage it under Settings → Billing. See Billing & Plans for details.
